Be faithful in small things because it is in them that your strength lies.
Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God
God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.
In this is love, not that we loved God but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
God loves each of us as if there were only one of us.
I see Jesus in every human being. I say to myself, this is hungry Jesus, I must feed him. This is sick Jesus. This one has leprosy or gangrene; I must wash him and tend to him. I serve becuase I love Jesus.
I love Jesus, who said to us: Heaven and earth will pass away. When heaven and earth have passed away, my word will remain. What was your word, Jesus? Love? Forgiveness? Affection? All your words were one word: Wakeup.
We are to love God for Himself, because of a twofold reason; nothing is more reasonable, nothing more profitable.
Peace is not automatic. It is a gift of the grace of God. It comes when hearts are exposed to the love of Christ. But this always costs something. For the love of Christ was demonstrated through suffering and those who experience that love can never put it into practice without some cost.
Outside of Christ, I am only a sinner, but in Christ, I am saved. Outside of Christ, I am empty; in Christ, I am full. Outside of Christ, I am weak; in Christ, I am strong. Outside of Christ, I cannot; in Christ, I am more than able. Outside of Christ, I have been defeated; in Christ, I am already victorious. How meaningful are the words, "in Christ."
What really matters in life is that we are loved by Christ and that we love Him in return. In comparison to the love of Jesus, everything else is secondary. And, without the love of Jesus, everything is useless.
If our identity is in our work, rather than Christ, success will go to our heads, and failure will go to our hearts.
When I see Jesus Christ I simply want to be what He wants me to be.
When Christ's love fills our hearts, it puts selfishness on the run.
I've come to view Jesus much the way I view Elvis. I love the guy but the fan clubs really freak me out.
I love Jesus Christ with all my heart and everything He stands for. I think that sums up everything that I want for my life, everything I want for my family, everything I want for my career. I want it to be entertaining. I want people to smile and tap their toes, but I want it to be meaningful when the day is done.
Have the courage to go against the tide of current values that do not conform to the path of Jesus.
Jesus understands our weaknesses and sins; and he forgives us if we allow ourselves to be forgiven.
I love my fans and have devoted my life to reaching out to them. I appreciate their support all these years, and I hope I haven't let them down. I am at peace. I love Jesus. I'm going to be just fine. Don't worry about me. I'll see you again one day.
My entire theology can be condensed into four words, 'JESUS DIED FOR ME'.
or simply:
