C'mon, let's get real, real gone.
I miss my singing career very much.
Don't step on my blue suede shoes.
Make me feel at home, if you really care, scratch my back and run your pretty fingers through my hair.
So many kids and adults, too, have gotten just about one of the roughest breaks that can happen to a person. We can help these people.
The walls have ears, better think before you throw that shoe.
I thought that I was in heaven But I was sure surprised Heaven help me, I didn't see The devil in your eyes You look like an angel Walk like an angel Talk like an angel But I got wise You're the devil in disguise Oh yes you are The devil in disguise
I was an overnight sensation.
When we're dancing it almost feels the same, I've got to stop myself from whispering your name.
I can't sing very well but I'd like to try.
The world is more alive at night; it's like God isn't looking.
Didja ever get one of them girls who just wants to watch the show?
When I get married, it'll be no secret.
Later on they send me to Hollywood. To make movies. It was all new to me. I was only 21 years old.
Those people in New York are not gonna change me none.
I get tired of singing to the guys I beat up in motion pictures.
The walls have ears, ears that hear each little sound you make every time you stamp, throw a lamp.
I wiggle my shoulders, I shake my legs, I walk up and down the stage, I hop around on one foot. But I never bump and grind. Why, that's vulgar. I'd never do anything vulgar before an audience. My mother would never allow it.
If you talk in your sleep, don't mention my name. If you walk in your sleep, forget where you came.
TAKING CARE OF BUSINESS...guess Elvis use to say it alot and had necklaces made with initials TCB
I've never gotten over what they call stagefright. I go through it every show. I'm pretty concerned, I'm pretty much thinking about the show. I never get completely comfortable with it, and I don't let the people around me get comfortable with it, in that I remind them that it's a new crowd out there, it's a new audience, and they haven't seen us before. So it's got to be like the first time we go on.
Then came Act II, you seemed to change and acted strange, and why I'll never know.
Any audience, as a rule, goes for a fast number.
I was almost always true to you.
Hey buddy, don't you be no square, if you can't find a partner use a wooden chair.
