You get used to it I suppose, but it's always a bit disappointing to see a comic referred to as 'by [writer]' and no one else.
Man Of Steel looks great, is well cast, and is, moralistically, completely rotten to the core.
A lot of superhero stuff now looks great but it's so difficult to read if you don't know how to read comics. I deliberately focus on the story.
I've always believed comics should bring in things like that, and they haven't for a very long time, in general. You always get people complaining, "What's it going to look like in 10 years' time?" It's ridiculous. Everything is going to age. If you try and avoid dating it, you just end up with something that doesn't mean anything.
Really, though, I just want to make the kind of comics I wouldn't be embarrassed to read in public.
