I have noticed that the Universe loves gratitude. The more grateful you are, the more goodies you get. When I say 'goodies', I don't mean only material things. I mean all the people, places and experiences that make life so wonderfully worth living.
So the big question is, "Well, do I just dump all those unwanted things and try to start fresh?" And we say, no. You just set the Tone, where you are, by looking for things to appreciate. And by setting your Tone in a very clear deliberate way, anything that doesn't match it gravitates out of your experience, and anything that does match it gravitates into your experience. It is so much simpler than most of you are allowing yourself to believe.
The future hasn't happened yet and the past is gone. So I think the only moment we have is right here and now, and I try to make the best of those moments, the moments that I'm in.
Celebrate what you want to see more of.
Focus on what you're grateful for in your life. If you don't appreciate what you have, you won't get any more... because the universe thinks it's not important to you, and therefore you don't need any more.
You may not be where you want to be, but you can look back and be thankful you're not where you used to be.
Escapism and wonder is influence. It makes you feel good, and that allows you to do things. You just keep on moving ahead, and you say, 'God, is this wonderful - do I appreciate it.'
I awaken today, appreciating everything in sight, and I give thanks.
