Due to a life of training and playing, I seem to spend half my time in the shower.
I was never happy that my injuries cut my career short and ultimately forced my decision to step away from tennis. I have enjoyed my time away from the court, a period that has allowed me to experience a different side of life. However, I miss the game and the challenge of competing at the highest level of tennis, and I want to gauge whether I can stay healthy and compete against today's top players.
What I am looking for is a masterpiece. I don't want to waste my time. I am tired of experiments.
My time at Wofford was very dear to me. I chose to go there because the academics were so strong. I could have gone somewhere a little more local, but I wanted the academic challenges Wofford had to offer. It worked out pretty well for me obviously.
Just making sure the boys are okay is my priority in life, and that takes up all of my time right now.
When I die, my epitaph or whatever you call those signs on gravestones is going to read: "I joked about every prominent man of my time, but I never met a man I didn't like."
My business is making people, especially children, happy. I have dedicated much of my time to a study of the problems of children.
I am not opposed to the white race as charged by my enemies. I have no time to hate any one. All my time is devoted to the up-building and development of the Negro Race.
When I die, my epitaph or whatever you call those signs on gravestones is going to read: "I joked about every prominent man of my time, but I never met a man I didn't like." I am so proud of that I can hardly wait to die so it can be carved. And when you come to my grave you will find me sitting there, proudly reading it.
If I want to pursue the art of painting - or music or writing or sculpture - it requires only my time and a few dollars for materials. If, however, I want to produce a motion picture I have to go out and raise a million dollars!
Don't waste my time- I'm not stupid, and I'm not gullible.
I like to take my time and not try to put too much pressure on myself, but it's hard. I think I forget every time - you give birth and you want your stomach to be flat again.
I didn't take a break from making music, but I took some time away from the "need to sell it" thing, and moved to my hometown, Umeå. I took my time there, exploring music on my own, on a very personal level.
When it comes to making an album I take that very seriously. I am meticulous, overworked. That's my time to put everything under the microscope.
Ninety-five per cent of my time is virtually wasted.
I realized the true function of a lawyer was to unite parties riven asunder. The lesson was so indelibly burnt into me that a large part of my time during the twenty years of my practice as a lawyer was occupied in bringing about private compromises of hundreds of cases. I lost nothing thereby -- not even money, certainly not my soul.
I have made more documentaries in my time than I think I care to remember, though I am immensely proud of all my work.
I need to start honing in on projects that I want to devote my time to and not put my energies into the unattainable ones.
The opinion I have of the generality of women--who appear to me as children to whom I would rather give a sugar plum than my time, forms a barrier against matrimony which I rejoice in.
In 1992 I was doing one of my first ever tours and I was in Heathrow airport and I saw these middle-aged musicians who had clearly been on tour for decades, and they all looked haggard and unhappy and unhealthy. I vowed to myself that I would never be that person. Flash forward 20 years and I found myself in Heathrow looking haggard and unhappy and unhealthy. I decided I would rather spend my time staying home working on music and making dinner with friends, instead of spending six months in a hotel in a state of depressing suspended adolescence.
Somebody'll be me, tomorrow or whenever. I've been doing this awhile. My time's limited. I've been doing this awhile.
On Bill Clinton: "If left to my own devices, I'd spend all my time pointing out that he's weaker than bus-station chili. But the man is so constantly subjected to such hideous and unfair abuse that I wind up standing up for him on the general principle that some fairness should be applied. Besides, no one but a fool or a Republican ever took him for a liberal.
I have reached the end of my time, and have hardly come to the beginning of my task.
The trouble with everything, these days, for me, is time. There is only one me. There are a ridiculous number of demands on my time. There are so many things I'm trying to do. It's so much more about when I'm going to get time to do it, if I get time.
My life hasn't been perfect, yet I've never wasted my time envying anyone else. If something wasn't the best it could be - I made it better.
